Ai Bang & Ming Bang moved from Wakayama to Chengdu

Ai Bang (female, Ai Hin in Japanese) and Ming Bang (male, Mei Hin in Chinese) moved from their birthtown Wakayama to Chengdu on December 14, 2012.

The 2 pandas born on December 23, 2006 are the 5th and the 6th panda born in Japan to move to their parents home country China.

Ai Bang & Ming Bang are the last cubs of Mei Mei. The 6 surviving offspring of Mei Mei and Ei Mei (Yong Ming in Chinese) live now in Chengdu.

Adventure World Wakayama had the most panda births outside of China. It is now also the center with the most 'returned' pandas.

Ai Bang is the first female panda born abroad, who moved to Chengdu.

The pandas stay now at the Panda Quarantine Field at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
